Assistant or Associate Professor or Extension Research Associate in Conflict Resolution - ILR School
The ILR School at Cornell University is seeking an experienced researcher and/or practitioner to teach practicum oriented courses on mediation and arbitration and other conflict resolution related topics to undergraduate and graduate students on its Ithaca campus and in its professional development course offerings, in New York City and elsewhere. This position will be affiliated with the ILR School's Scheinman Institute for Conflict Resolution. The ILR School has both tenure track faculty positions and professional appointments in its outreach division (extension associates). The person hired in this position could be either tenure-track faculty or an extension associate faculty depending on qualifications and interests. A tenure track faculty member would have to demonstrate substantial research publications in top tier academic publication outlets along with some experience interacting with practitioners. An extension associate faculty would be expected to have had a significant amount of practitioner experience and/or experience providing professional education in the conflict resolution domain. We are particularly interested in individuals who have expertise in workplace conflict including the following topics: mediation and arbitration, conflict systems design, interpersonal conflict resolution, negotiation, identity and cultural issues, and labor-management conflicts. It is preferred that the person be based in Ithaca.

The ILR School is home to the Scheinman Institute on Conflict Resolution. The Institute has existing relationships with leading organizations in the conflict resolution field, which provide research and professional development teaching opportunities for affiliated faculty.
