We are looking for an innovative person to join us as a Senior Financial Manager . This newly created position will drive change and create a team to budget, forecast and evaluate financial value of work produced by the supply chain division. This role is visible to Senior Leadership and he or she will plan, develop, implement, analyze, and provides guidance for the fiscal management of assigned departments to meet financial objectives.
Develop operating budget, staff salary plan, and capital equipment budget.
Assist in non-departmental budgets with significant supply chain components.
Ensure budgetary compliance through review and approval of all purchase orders, check requests, petty cash vouchers, travel vouchers, work requests, etc.
Build and implement a savings validation methodology to value and track savings achieved through contractual agreements
Be responsible for financial analytics such as statistics, benchmarking, forecasting, and trending.
Support work with Leadership to address workflow issues and staffing shortages.
Collaborate with MSK Finance to enhance current processes and forecasting
Ensures optimum utilization of resources to meet objectives cost effectively and efficiently.

A Bachelors Degree, Masters Degree preferred in Business, Economics, Supply Chain
4 7 years of experience at a supervisory level with research finances and budget exposure
8 years of meaningful experience is accepted in lieu of a Bachelors degree
Past Supply Chain or Healthcare experience preferred #LI-POST
