Bachelor's Degree in Computer Networking or related discipline OR Associate Degree in Computer Networking or related discipline and three years' work experience in the area of assigned instruction
Required Skills & Abilities:
Excellent oral and written communication skills. Basic computer skills. Exhibition of respect and professionalism in a spirit of collegiality Microsoft Office proficient. Ability to promote an effective environment for learning in lecture and lab experiences Ability to teach students from diverse cultural and social backgrounds.
Preferred Skills & Abilities:
Knowledge of online delivery methods, principles and techniques. Industry Certifications in CompTIA A+; CompTIA Network+; CompTIA Security+; MSCE/MCSA; CCNA; CCNASecurity; CCAI; VMware Certified Associate
Three years' current work experience in the field of Computer Networking or related field. Note: May be waived for individuals with a bachelor's or master's degree in the discipline.
4+ years' related work experience Community College and or Public School teaching experience. Online curriculum development and online teaching experience.
