The Student Services Program Coordinator II Internal title- Program Coordinator – Loan Unit, is a member of the office team that is responsible for the administration and coordination of the federal Title IV and private educational loan programs through which the University's students and their parents borrow. The annual loan processing volume currently exceeds $320 million through approximately 33,000 educational loans that benefit over 15,000 students. This Program Coordinator will primarily focus on special issues that are presented in association with the administration of educational loan programs and perceived to be insufficiently addressed within the Banner system. Of primary concern will be loans processed for one semester of enrollment and the associated issues and attention that they must receive, processing and managing the Graduate PLUS Loan program, serving as a backup for the Parent PLUS Loan program, and reviewing a number of reports identifying potential loan processing errors or changes that require loan corrections. This position will also enable the office's Loan Services Unit to provide more support to staff in meeting individual student needs during critical processing periods such as those associated with semester start-up and payment due timeframes. Finally, this position will also participate in the office's general student advisement services as well as aid application review, eligibility checks, analysis, follow-up, and awarding processes.
Advertised Minimum Qualifications :
Masters degree in Student Financial Services or related field, or Bachelor’s degree and two years related experience.
