To coordinate resources that supports the appearance and functionality of all field-related parking and transportation resources within the department. Effectively plan and manage parking resources to ensure that the appearance and function of all field resources meet the high expectations of visitors, faculty, staff, and students on the UT Arlington campus.
Responsible for the appearance and functionality of all field-related parking and transportation resources, to include gates, signage, vehicles, hardware, software, pay stations, parking meters, and golf carts. Communicates as the point of contact for internal and external partners to ensure the existing equipment achieves the best outcome and operational times. Plans for and communicates the Parking and Transportation resource needs. Supervises student personnel assigned to the field-operation duties of the office of Parking and Transportation Services, including hiring, training, performance review, discipline and staff development. Responsible for budget management including meter revenue collections and to maintain sound financial internal controls. Coordinate with vendors and campus personnel to ensuring timely and satisfactory completion of projects. In certain situations, place proper parking equipment such as cones, chains, and barricades in requested spots at requested times. Performs other duties assigned.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience, as mentioned above. Two years' experience coordinating or administering a program. Must have excellent computer skills, professional demeanor, and show attention to detail and customer service. Must demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills and possess excellent interpersonal communication skills. Must have tact, diplomacy, and judgment in dealing with others. Must have a valid driver’s license to operate a motor vehicle in the state of Texas and possess an acceptable driving record.
The above qualifications, plus five years progressively responsible transportation and parking management experience, including three years in a supervisory or lead capacity. University or large-scale parking entity experience preferred. Thorough knowledge of UT Arlington Campus and surface and garage parking areas preferred.
Demonstrated ability to motivate subordinates, build teams and provide excellence in customer service both internal and external to the department.

Skill in components of Microsoft Office to include Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
