The Department of Politics at Ithaca College (located in Ithaca, NY) invites applications for a tenure-eligible position in Gender and Feminist Politics, with preferred expertise in the subfields of feminist political theory and public policy. While we are open to any geographical area of specialization, we are particularly interested in candidates with a strong research and teaching record in some or any of the following areas: politics, policy and power at the intersection of critical race, class, gender and feminist theorizing, reproductive rights, LGBTQI studies, politics of sexuality, transnational resistance movements, gender-responsive institution building, inclusive development, or related research areas.

In addition to a brief professional introduction, the cover letter should address the applicant's interest in working at Ithaca College and should describe how the candidate's research and teaching supports diverse communities. The scholarship statement should describe the applicant's substantive research project and future direction of scholarship. The teaching statement should articulate the applicant's teaching philosophy and discuss the candidate's teaching experience.
