4-H Youth Development Program AssistantII is responsible to the County Extension Director and works under thedirection of county 4-H Youth Development Extension Agents. This position willsupport county work in implementing educational programs for 4-H Youthincluding but not limited to preparing and researching information andmaterials for educational programs and presentations. Assist in providingguidance and directions to other program educators (agents and programassistants) with procedures appropriate to acquiring materials for the program,maintaining program records, budget records, travel request procedures, andpersonnel procedures. Duties include:
Provideleadership for a program of activities that meets the needs of all eligibleclientele regardless of race, color, national origin, age, sex, disability,religion or veteran status.
Plan,execute and evaluate 4-H Youth Development educational programs under thedirection of the lead 4-H Agent and County Director.
Implement,evaluate, and report 4-H Youth Development program related to organization,leadership, recognition, sponsorship etc.
Secureand train volunteer leaders and serve as an educational resource for educationalyouth programs within the county.
Responsibleto the County Extension Director and must keep current on the latest researchinformation in youth development
Assureprogram implementation, delivery and evaluation activities are in compliance withthe guidance and established policies and procedures for the program and forExtension.
Allother duties as assigned.
