Memorial Sloan Kettering is searching for a Messenger to safely retrieve transports and deliver all materials (e.g., specimens, mail, treatments, etc.) across/between MSKCC sites. This position is based at our David H Koch Center for Cancer Care.
Pick up and delivers mail to/from Davd H Koch Center for Cancer Care mailroom and other designated locations.
Retrieve and deliver medical instruments to Central Sterile Processing on a daily basis at designated pick up times.
Transport all materials (e.g., specimens, mail, treatments, etc.) from off-site locations to designated locations in an approved container.
Communicate professionally and politely with the hospital staff and patients.
Respond affirmatively to pick-up requests for off-site locations and from within Main Campus.
Answer the phone clearly and professionally, identifying self and location.
Obtain all the required information from the caller (e.g., name of caller, time of the call, extension caller is calling from, item being picked up, area item is being picked up from, name of recipient, stat/hand deliver).
High School Diploma or GED
Knowledge of basic internet navigation; email
Monday - Thursday, 7 AM - 3 PM, Sunday from 7:30 am - 3:30 pm, subject to change
