Job Description Summary
This position is responsible for maintaining the academic records of all MBA students and related activities.
Responsibilities include managing the waiver process, reviewing students' graduation requirements with respect to completed credit units, completion of core courses and majors. The position plays an active role in delivering the best possible student experience with regard to course registration and students' academic schedules, and assists to resolve matters relating to students' academic and financial standing. The position works closely with the data coordinator and reports to the Director of Academic Operations of the MBA program.
An Associate's Degree or two year college equivalent and 3 years to 5 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. The candidate must have strong organizational skills; a plus is to have experience working with SRS and SFS. The candidate must have strong communication skills, e.g. while communicating with students on matters that relate to their academic records, or while communicating with academic departments and faculty on matters that relate to courses and grades. The candidate should have strong technical and computational skills, e.g. while working with different data files and while doing basic data analysis in EXCEL. Ability to work as a team member is necessary and a strong attention to detail/accuracy.
