Reporting to the Associate Dean of the College for International Students, Brown UniversityÂ is seeking a candidate to serve as International Student Program Coordinator. The International Students Program Coordinator will serve as part of The College and Global Brown teams to provide academic program support for international undergraduate students. The International Students Program Coordinator will assist with programming, evaluation and assessment, event planning and management, and operating budget monitoring and analysis. The International Student Program Coordinator will conduct research relevant to programming, liaise with internal offices, and will be responsible for communication and outreach to the international undergraduate students, international alumni and visiting students.
The position has four seminal components: support academic programming activities for international undergraduate students; collaborate with Global Brown team to implement the Global Brown Diversity and Inclusion Plan; support mentoring opportunities for international undergraduates and alumni; and, assist with professional development events for international students.
The International Student Program Coordinator will make appropriate referrals to other offices and resources on campus and consult with these offices as necessary, and encourage a sense of community among international undergraduate students marked by Brown University's diversity and inclusion values.
Associate's degree and at least three years of administrative experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience in a university setting, preferred.
