The Center for Learning and Student Success (CLASS) offers academic support services for SU students, including small-group and one-on-one tutoring, workshops, academic coaching, and academic integrity education and training. Since opening in 2017, CLASS has grown rapidly, more than doubling the volume of tutoring we provide and adding new programming to assess how we can best help students become expert independent learners. CLASS staff collaborate closely with faculty to design, deliver and evaluate academic support programming based on cognitive science research on human learning. Located in Bird Library – a main student gathering point at the center of campus – CLASS is part of Academic Affairs within the Provost's Office.
