The Center for Professional Studies at Georgian Court University is in search of healthcare professionals to design, develop and deliver development programs to be offered at our Lakewood, NJ campus. Topics for programs may include: Medical Billing and Coding, Phlebotomy, Patient Care Technicians, Medical Terminology, Electronic Health Records, etc.
The position requires excellent written and verbal communication skills, and proven facilitation or teaching skills. The ideal candidate should be organized, possess a strong work ethic and hold relevant certifications/degrees in the field.
This is a per-course, part-time position dependent on sufficient enrollment through the Center for Professional Studies.
Curriculum development and accreditation (where applicable)
Assist with marketing and promotion of course to secure enrollment
Understanding of adult learning concepts and behaviors.
Ability to present information in a group setting.
Must hold relevant professional certification or license in the field.
Minimum of three (3) years of relevant teaching or presentation experience preferred.
