The School of Business at the State University of New York (SUNY) Geneseo invites applications for a full time, tenure-track assistant professor in Accounting to begin August 2020.
This faculty member would assume primary responsibility for the Managerial Accounting portion of our BS and MS programs.
Other duties would include:
Academic advising and mentoring of students.
Conduct and publish scholarly research.
Service to college, community, and discipline.

Required Qualifications PhD degree in hand prior to the assumption of duties in August 2020. Current CPA license. Prior teaching and professional experience in public and/or corporate accounting Potential to establish an on-going program of scholarly research and publication in the area of Accounting. Demonstrated commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive working/teaching environment.
Preferred Qualifications The ability and willingness to teach in secondary support areas. The breadth and diversity of secondary teaching areas and experience teaching online courses. A demonstrated commitment to excellence in undergraduate education, including advising and mentoring students. A commitment to service to the school, college, community and discipline.
