1. Plans, directs, manages, and executes a variety of complex strategic projects for the vice provosts and the provost in support of university-wide initiatives including the University's Science Strategy. 2. Manages strategic communications for academic initiatives by outlining, drafting and editing a wide range of written materials on behalf of the vice provosts and the provost, including executive presentations, internal and external communications, and Development materials. 3. Assists in developing planning documents for the implementation of provost's office initiatives and academic priorities, with special focus on the Science priorities. 4. Partners with the vice provosts, faculty, and Development to create fundraising proposals, marketing materials, and stewardship reports in support of specific university initiatives. Assists in managing long-term stewardship for funds and large-scale gifts overseen by the provost's office. 5. Maintains a high level of knowledge of provost's office initiatives and academic priorities and serves as a content resource to colleagues in offices across campus, including Development, Business Operations, and others. 6. Performs other duties as assigned.
