Coordinate the collection and data reporting for the university’s cost reporting into the Higher Education Index of Data Inventory (HEIDI). Coordinate the university’s general and non-general fund budget monitoring process and provide updates; oversee the university’s position control process and monitor compliance to financial practices. Create, maintain and analyze financial reports. Provide technical support and mentoring to team members and end users.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience. Minimum three years of accounting and/or budgeting experience. Advanced technical skills in Access and Excel. Extensive experience maintaining, manipulating and reporting from databases. Excellent organizational and analytical skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively with others.
The successful candidate should have an aptitude for business system designs, research, configuration and implementation. SQL query experience preferred.
