Position Details: MiraCosta College is accepting applications for Community Education Instructors.
Basic Function: Community Education & Workforce Development is looking for qualified individuals who are both industry experts AND natural instructors who want to teach new and fascinating not-for-credit courses .
Education & Experience: Instructors must have experience teaching more than 10 students at a time, love your field of expertise and want to share while doing hands-on projects.
Instructors who are personable, enthusiastic, patient, and who have excellent communication skills.
Instructors must be able to work one-on-one and with small groups of students.
It is imperative that the instructor is professional and ethical at all times.
We are offering a unique opportunity for instructors and/or subject matter experts to teach creative new classes and programs in arts, enrichments, children & teens, computers, and business.
If selected, the instructor will need to complete a new course proposal form including his/her curriculum.
