This position is responsible for assisting the Ward Vet Techs in taking care of drop-off appointments and in-patients.
Job duties will include, but are not limited to: - Make appointments for clients and answer phone calls for services - Receive patients, including taking information and entering into medical records - Scribe for clinicians and enter notes in medical records - Ensure all services and supplies are charged for according to hospital fee schedule - Order supply items for stocking in Central Supply, assist with inventory audit and counts - Daily cleaning/disinfecting of services, including bio-hazard removal - Launder towels and linens - Other duties as assigned
Hourly Salary Range: $15.44 to $20.47 USD/hour

Minimum/Required Qualifications:One year of post high school experience or education in veterinary assisting which includes: animal restraint, veterinary terminology, veterinary anatomy, patient first aid, and medication administration.
Selection Criteria/Preferred Qualifications: Problem solving skills, strong interpersonal skills, knowledge of veterinary medicine terminology, knowledge of proper restraint and handling of large and small animals. Lead technician experience, certified technician with licensure recognized in Minnesota. Supervisory experience/Customer Service orientation.
