Pending funding, the newly developed Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA program) at Drake University invites applications for a full-time, consecutive term, Assistant Professor position in Applied Behavior Analysis, starting fall 2020. A Ph.D. (or equivalent) in ABA, or a closely related field, is preferred, though ABDs close to completion will be considered. Certification by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board is required. Area of expertise is open. Appointment is 9 months and the teaching load is nine hours per semester. Primary teaching assignments include graduate courses in principles of behavior, research methods in behavior analysis, behavioral intervention, and courses within the candidate’s area of expertise. Supervision of graduate student practicum experiences and contribution to the development of an online certificate program is expected. The faculty member will also have the opportunity to contribute to the undergraduate curriculum.
