Job Description Summary:
Under the general direction of the Associate Vice President of Workforce Development and Continuing Education, the Director of Client Solutions and Strategic Initiatives will work collaboratively with deans, directors, faculty program staff and external partners to identify new initiatives that support the college's strategic plan, meet new and emerging community needs and enhance enrollments and revenue opportunities for the College. The Director for Workforce Programs and Strategic Initiatives will work cooperatively with College staff and faculty to develop and deliver competitively -priced training and business services to businesses, local, state, and federal agencies within the County and surrounding regions. This position will function as an external representative for the College and promote the college's capacity and resources, to include credit and noncredit programs, to deliver high-quality training solutions and services to customers.
Three years' full-time professional experience in the discipline (workforce training, community education, adult education, etc.).
Three years of supervisor experience required.
Must be available to work Monday – Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Work schedule subject to change based on the needs of the department.
Ability to communicate effectively in spoken and written standard English.
