ECTC is seeking an Engineering and Electronics Technology Instructor to instruct 15 credit hours per semester (or the equivalent), and are further responsible for curriculum development and curriculum revision, academic advising duties, professional development, internal and external service, and participate in student recruitment and retention activities. The assignment may include some evening and weekend hours, as well as teaching at all ECTC remote sites. Candidates must possess a strong commitment to teaching and learning, working with diverse populations, and growing the College's mission and vision.
10 months (August-May).
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Plan and carry out instructional activities, prepare lesson plans, maintain records and report on students' progress.
This position requires a background and Knowledge and understanding of relevant disciplines, including DC/AC circuit analysis, digital electronics, communications systems, linear IC applications, computer repair, and software applications for electronics.
Education: Associate Degree Electronics and a minimum of 3-5 years of related experience. Bachelor's Degree Electrical (Electronics) Engineering Preferred.
