Northwestern University is seeking a temporary Part-time Program Assistant for the Chicago campus.
Temporary Job Description: The temporary Program Assistant position provides standard and routine financial and administrative support, which may include word processing, data entry, ordering supplies and expense reports, preparing monthly reconciliations, copying, filing, faxing, answering phones, greeting visitors, providing information, and/or scheduling meetings. Additionally, the temporary Program Assistant is responsible for employee onboarding which includes processing access forms and distributing financial training materials.
A bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education, training and experience;
Interest or experience in finance or accounting;
High level of organizational skills and attention to detail;
Strong communication skills;
Diligent and can work independently;
Experience working with confidential information;
Flexibility, adaptability in a fast paced environment.
Software Required: MS Office suite 2013 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
