About the Opportunity: A postdoctoral research position is available in the Slavov Laboratory to study systems-level post-transcriptional and metabolic mechanisms underpinning immune cell exhaustion. The project will use interdisciplinary approaches, including methods that allow quantifying thousands of proteins in single cells at high throughput, see http://scope2.slavovlab.net We are looking for a fellow who enjoys working on fundamental and quantitative problems in systems biology and bioengineering, surrounded by an interdisciplinary group of engineers, biologists, and physicists. Responsibilities: Assist in initiating, executing, and completing clinical research and experiments (60%) Prepare and write research papers, presentations (20%) Laboratory management (15%) Train graduate students (5%)
Qualifications: Must have a Ph.D. or equivalent; be able to undertake substantially full-time research or scholarship; work under the supervision of a senior scholar. Leading role in scientific projects as demonstrated by published work. Strong quantitative and/or experimental skills. Good collaborative spirit and excellent communication skills.
