Northwestern University is seeking a temporary full-time Program Assistant for the Chicago campus.
Temporary Job Description: The temporary Program Assistant position provides standard and routine clerical and administrative support, which may include word processing, data entry, ordering supplies, opening and sorting mail, copying, filing, faxing, answering phones, greeting visitors, providing information, and/or scheduling meetings. Additionally, the temporary Program Assistant is responsible for organizing and coordinating events which may include creating timelines and complex itineraries, collecting agenda items, and creating registrant profiles.
A bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education, training and experience;
Strong communication skills;
Strong project management skills;
High level of organizational skills and attention to detail;
Diligent and can work independently;
Flexibility, adaptability in a fast paced environment.
MS Office suite 2013 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
