The Department of Psychology invites applications for tenure-track faculty position at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor with expertise in Cognitive Psychology. We are seeking candidates with an area of specialization that complements current faculty interests in the cognitive area (e.g., decision making, memory and attention, cognitive aging, learning technologies, neural architectures). Candidates using innovative methodological or analytic approaches (e.g., neuroimaging, data science, etc.) that can build on the department's current strengths is desirable.
Successful candidates candidates may conduct basic or applied research and will be expected to develop collaborations through strategic initiatives within UTA and established university partners.
Minimum requirements for this position include: (1) a Ph.D. or equivalent in Psychology or closely related discipline; (2) strong record of publication; (3) evidence of existing funding, or potential to develop a strong research program with external funding; and (4) commitment to quality teaching at the graduate and undergraduate levels. Successful candidates are expected to demonstrate a commitment to diversity and equity in education through their scholarship, teaching, and/or service.
