Northwestern University is seeking a temporary Research Assistant for the Chicago campus.
Temporary Job Description:
We seek to fill two temporary positions to complete outreach to Chicago-area healthcare providers in support of the Illinois Medicaid Promoting Interoperability (PI) Program. Specifically, these temporary staff will join our Street Team to engage in direct outreach to eligible Medicaid providers in the Chicago area to promote awareness of the PI program, facilitate progression of providers through the program, and foster good working relationships with local providers enrolled in the program.
The Research Assistant will assist with the Illinois Medicaid Promoting Interoperability Program, which aims to help healthcare providers adopt, implement, or upgrade certified electronic health record technology and use it in a meaningful manner. The Research Assistant will be responsible for conducting outreach via phone and in-person visits to healthcare providers in the Chicago area. The goals of the outreach program will be building working relationships with local healthcare providers, promoting awareness of our services, and collecting information that will help meet program objectives. The Research Assistant will also provide support for the project which may include word processing, data entry, and report compilation. The Research Assistant will be required to travel to sites in neighborhoods and communities across Chicago to engage local healthcare providers.
Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education, training and experience
