Northwestern University is seeking a temporary full-time Accounting Specialist for the Chicago campus.
Temporary Job Description: The temporary Accounting Specialist position provides standard clerical and administrative support, which may include word processing, expense report processing, data entry, ordering and tracking supplies, opening and sorting mail, answering phones, greeting visitors, providing information, and/or scheduling meetings. Additionally, the temporary Accounting Specialist is responsible for serving as a backup to other procurement staff based on workload and other staff absences.
A bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education, training and experience;
Strong organizational and problem solving skills;
Strong written and oral communication skills;
Diligent and can work well in a team environment;
Flexibility, adaptability in a fast paced environment.
Excellent time management skills and great attention to detail;
MS Office suite 2013 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
