Under the close supervision of the Early Academic Outreach Program Director, the incumbent will actively engage with K-16 students, teachers, parents, and district personnel to develop their general education skills and UC eligibility. Relatedly, the Early Academic Outreach Program (EAOP) works with school sites to promote student knowledge and preparation for admissions to higher education.
The incumbent is expected to collaborate with UCI program staff and school partners in the design, coordination, and implementation of the EAOP at targeted high schools in Los Angeles and Orange counties. They may assist program staff (including other UCI campus staff and/or community-based organization staff) with events pertaining to programmatic development and partnership sustainability.
This position also includes residential program coordination, program implementation, student staff supervision, data collection, and reporting.
