The Associate Dean of Student Success will develop and direct student academic support initiatives, and evaluate and report on effectiveness of all those activities. The Associate Dean will work with the Dean of Ogden College of Science and Engineering (OCSE), College Advising, CITL and ACDC to develop programmatic student success plans and identify, support and implement new initiatives aimed toward student success. The Associate Dean will work with faculty to develop and deliver classes, workshops, seminars, and other training activities which facilitate student success. The Associate Dean will promote research, excellence and innovations in teaching practices and student success. The Associate Dean will be responsible for the development and implementation of sustainable educational programs and materials to support Diversity, Equity and Inclusion within the College.
The successful candidate must either be at the rank of Associate Professor or higher or the rank of Instructor II. The successful candidate will have a demonstrated record of excellence in advising and teaching with a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
