Assisting the MarCom staff with a variety of marketing/public relations opportunities, some involving creative thinking and design, and/or general office duties.
Assisting the graphic team with developing flyers, brochures and website banners
Helping develop information for social media posts and press releases.
With interest and the appropriate skills set, taking photographs, copy writing and blogging
General Office Assistant:
Provide support during special events including some evenings and rare weekends (such as Homecoming in September)
Pick-up and delivery to on-campus offices, particularly the Copy Center
Packaging, shipping & delivery to other offices, and assisting with direct mailings
Other duties, as assigned
Timeliness, punctuality, flexibility, a professional appearance and friendly demeanor, and the ability to work independently
Familiarity with MSOffice software
For writing and blogging assignments, English grammar and language skills necessary
For graphic design and photography assignments, experience with digital cameras and Adobe Creative Suite software is required
Computer, Copy machine, Digital Camera
Ability to lift 20 lbs or greater
