The Institute for Health Policy (IHP) at Michigan State University is seeking a Specialist-Outreach with knowledge and experience of MDHHS HAB and/or HSW waivers.
The Specialist-Outreach coordinates and conducts setting reviews on behalf of the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services according to Home and Community Based Setting (HCBS) federal requirements for HSW/HAB support waivers. The qualified candidate will be responsible for integrating compliance recommendations for MDHHS based on document review and provider/beneficiary interviews.
Masters degree in Nursing, Clinical Psychology, Social Work, Health Policy or related field.
Minimum of five years experience with Michigan Department of Health and Human Services HAB and/or HSW waivers, federal compliance requirements and working with persons with mental illness/DD/SED/SUD.
Active Michigan License as Nurse Practitioner or Limited License Psychologist
