Analyzes, evaluates, and reports financial status of all departmental operating revenues and expenditures. Assists in the preparation of the annual budget, NCAA Report and EADA Report. Assists with Chrome River travel/meal transactions. Provides leadership to the coaching and support staffs regarding policies and procedures pertaining to finance, procurement and travel requirements.
Working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Prior budgetary and financial reporting experience. Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word. Strong organizational and customer service skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive records and departmental information.
Knowledge of the university Banner system, eVA procurement system, Cognos reporting system and Chrome River. Knowledge of university and state policies and procedures and NCAA rules and regulations. Previous experience in higher education administration or collegiate athletics.
