Essential Functions: The Eugene Applebaum College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (EACPHS) at Wayne State University (WSU) is seeking candidates for a 12-month, tenured or tenure-track faculty position in the Pharmacy Practice Department. The candidate is expected to develop an externally funded program in pharmacotherapy treatment or prevention of human disease utilizing the focus areas of epidemiology, health outcomes assessment and/or economics. A scientist with a proven record of collaboration would be valued. The candidate is expected to become a core member of the social and administrative sciences group in the Pharmacy Practice Department.
Qualifications: Applicants must possess a health professional degree with additional graduate education (e.g., Pharm.D., M.D. with a M.S. or M.P.H. or a Ph.D.) and have completed appropriate research training. Highly desirable qualifications include clinical experience and an established record of success in publication, research funding, and leadership commensurate with the candidate's rank and experience.
