Direct all enrollment services and yield activities for all colleges. Additional responsibilities include the supervision of applicable Undergraduate Admissions staff members. Position is also responsible for working directly with the deans and faculty on recruitment and yield initiatives, educating and training staff on academic programs and procedures, and various public speaking engagements during on and off- campus events. Will also update the counselor database, develop counselor outreach communication and plan and execute school counselor recruitment events.

Supervise applicable staff in Undergraduate Admissions, including Admissions Counselors, Assistant Directors, and Associate Directors.
In conjunction with the Executive Director of Admissions, oversee and execute the vision for enrollment service operations including creating 12 month recruitment plans, long and short-term goals.
Direct the activities associated with the oversight of required college specific printed materials which include, chair letters, notes to prospective students and program specific webpages.
Schedule and oversee student and faculty led call nights
Provide education for staff on updates in order to increase customer care and yield results
Create content and schedule school counselor communication throughout the year
Liaise with associated Admissions staff to coordinate annual School Counselor visit and other Admission related activities as appropriate.
Participate in offsite required recruitment activities, including faculty led high school visit program.
Provide exceptional customer service during all on-campus and special road events (such as Open House, Accepted Student Day, Accepted Student Receptions, etc.)
Promote the University of New Haven to all prospective students and families, alumni, industry colleagues, and community
Bachelor's degree required; Master’s Degree preferred and a minimum of 7+ years of admission experience required, with a minimum of three years of supervisory experience preferred.
Excellent customer service skills including the ability to represent the University in a variety of situations with diverse population of prospective students, faculty and staff.
Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational, planning, and project management skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft suite of products required; Sungard Banner Experience preferred; CRM system experience required, preferably with TargetX.
Valid driver's license.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds is required for the travel component of the position.
Ability and willingness to travel and to participate in work related events which are routinely outside of normal working hours, including evenings and weekends.
High level of technical skills and an equally high level of energy.
Must demonstrate a tireless commitment to enrolling and retaining a diverse student body.
