Founded in 1922, the D'Amore-McKim School of Business at Northeastern University offers a unique model of business education that purposely blends innovative classroom learning with real-world business application. At the undergraduate level, both the BS in Business Administration and the BS in International Business programs offer students the opportunity to develop into highly motivated business leaders. Graduate students and corporate learners can choose from several different certificate andfull-time and part-time MBA and MS programs designed to enable motivated professionals to accelerate their success in business. The school is committed to embedding a global mindset into all of these programs, as well as in its research and outreach activities.
Responsibilities: Role responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: Data analysis and reporting - responsible for all data aspects of co-op portal including data integrity of student and employer information; partners with Cooperative Education Faculty and Administrative Coordinators Manages reporting for departmental strategic decision-making and distribution to Senior Leadership. Survey development and analysis - through assessment development and analysis, evaluates student, employer, and university programs and curriculum to influence decision-making, resource allocation, and program development. Partners with appropriate university resources and personnel in assessment development and results delivery. Curriculum development and evaluation - assess effectiveness of course curriculum through student and employer feedback. Partner with Assistant Dean, the Center for Advancing Teaching & Learning through Research, and the D'Amore-McKim School of Business Co-op Curriculum Innovations Team to ideate curriculum changes, integrate the Self-Authored Integrated Learning (SAIL) framework and content, develop online courses, workshops, and career education modules with Faculty, Alumni, and External Partners. Student engagement - oversee Peer Mentor Program, Student Ambassadors, and other student-oriented initiatives as they arise. Partners with Assistant Director of Operations and Assist Assistant Dean of Cooperative Education with special projects and new initiatives.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and a minimum of three years of professional experience required. Possesses demonstrated success in analytical and strategic functions of a multi-layer institution. Critical skills and competencies include: 1) capacity and ability to manage and analyze data sets and reports, and propose innovations based upon this analysis; 2) ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality in all situations; 3) manage and balance competing priorities; 4) possesses excellent interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal, and is able to engage with constituencies at all levels. Required technical skills include: Microsoft Office, in particular advanced functions of Excel, SQL, Salesforce, survey/assessment tools, and the interest and ability to learn new systems and software.
