East Carolina University invites applications for a 12-month, tenure-track faculty position at the rank of Assistant/Associate Professor for an entry-level Master of Science program, with plans to develop an entry-level Doctor of Occupational Therapy program to begin in 2023.
Faculty member responsibilities include teaching graduate courses, actively engaging in research and funding opportunities, advising graduate students in research, and participating in service at the university and professional levels.

Organizational Unit Overview:
A cohort of 26 students are admitted each fall. The Department has five dedicated teaching and research labs totaling 4,600 square feet with ample equipment/supplies. The Department is part of the largest College of Allied Health Sciences in the state of North Carolina. Laupus Health Science Library is housed in the College and provides a librarian dedicated to supporting occupational therapy students and faculty in scholarly work. All classrooms are technology-enhanced (e.g., SMART devices, video capture).
The College is within the Division of Health Sciences, along with medicine, nursing, and dentistry. It is adjacent to a 900-bed, level-1 trauma center which offers multiple opportunities to partner with their practitioners.
