Job Description Summary:
Master Carpenter and Events Stage Operations Supervisor (reports to the Technical Director and the Center for Performing Arts Operations Manager) Assist faculty and students in the scene shop. Responsible for safe operations in the scene shop and primary crew chief during construction and installation of scenery. The Assistant Technical Director- Master Carpenter and Events Stage Operations Supervisor also supervises all events stage operations as well as being the primary safety officer during all load-in and load-out of exterior events.
A minimum of 5 years (or 2 years with an AA or above) of experience working in a professional Scene Shop.
Must be able to work weekends. The work schedule is subject to change based on department needs.
Ability to communicate effectively in spoken and written standard English.
