Union: 00 - Non Union, Exempt or Temporary
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, advanced excel skills
Advanced knowledge of accounting principles and tax regulations
Demonstrated experience with Financial systems and data query tools
Experience working with Harvard systems including Oracle applications, HCOM, the Pcard settlement system and PeopleSoft preferred
Well organized, flexible and able to manage multiple, challenging projects simultaneously in a fast-paced work setting
Ability to handle complex, sensitive and confidential information with discretion exercising good judgment
Record of thoughtful customer service skills, with an emphasis on solving problems creatively while balancing the need for internal control
Experience with change management and transitions; successful track record of leading organizations through substantial change and/or building new organizations
Demonstrated ability in creative problem solving and solution finding, especially with ambiguous, ill-defined problems
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong listening skills and empathy; proven ability to influence without formal authority and/or without exercising formal authority; strong persuasive and negotiating skills
Strong interpersonal skills: ability to work well within a large and complex organization; ability to build strong relationships with people at all different levels; ability to collaborate with others to achieve collective vision and results
