Research Support - Laboratory/Non-Laboratory, Staff/Administrative
Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Temporary Research Assistant for the School of Health Professions, Health Informatics. Under the direction of the Principal Investigator (PI), the Temporary Research Assistant is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Global NeuroInformatics Lab and for assistance in research projects surrounding the lab.
Assists in the development and renewal of IRB protocols.
Conducts literature searches as assigned.
Prepares oral presentations, as required, in collaboration with the PI and graduate students.
Assists in behavioral and neuroimaging data collection and analysis for studies in the lab.
Minimum Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s of Arts or Science in Psychology, Neuroscience, Biomedical Sciences, Computer Science, or in Biomedical Engineering.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Candidates must have knowledge of research or clinical experience assessing human participants, statistical packages (SPSS, matlab, Python), use of PubMed and scientific writing.
Experience with experiment programming software.
Position is a one (1) year contract (24 hours/week).
This is a grant funded position.
