This position will assist in responsibilities for all areas of daily operations, administration and management of the women's softball program and team including scheduling, assisting with compliance and academic advising, scouting and recruiting, attending coaches clinics and workshops.
Assist in responsibilities for all areas of the daily operations, administration and management of the women's softball program and team, including scheduling of practices and weight training and conditioning exercises.
Assist in the responsibility for the managing of the sports budget, making the teams travel arrangements and securing lodging accommodations for away competitions.
Assist in working with compliance and academic advising to monitor the progress of the softball teams athletes in the classroom.
Assist in scouting and recruiting for prospective student-athletes from high schools and junior college that will fit with the program both academically and athletically.
Adhere to and monitor the compliance of all established NCAA and Conference rules and will report any violations of these rules that may arise to the proper official. Ascertain that compliance to the established rules and regulations of the TAMU system, this University and the Athletics department are followed.
Assist in coordinating in all phases of recruiting for the softball program.
Attend coaches clinics and workshops, conventions and conference to remain current in areas relating to collegiate softball. Attend NCAA rules and regulation training to remain current and aware of any changes.
Will perform other duties as assigned.
Required Education and Experience:
Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Three years of related experience.

Applicants with equivalent experience in lieu of a Bachelor?s degree may be considered. One year of the related experience is the equivalent of one college year. Applicants being considered for the equivalency must have four years of related experience to meet the equivalency in lieu of a Bachelor?s degree plus the minimum required years of experience.
