Position will provide diversified secretarial and administrative support for our Cyclotron Director.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Coordinates department administrative services such as typing manuscripts, correspondence; prepares materials and assigns rooms and keys.
Maintains calendar of meetings, lectures and seminars for Administrator.
Arranges and coordinates meetings for staff.
Coordinates travel arrangements, including lodging, visa’s, passports, and expense reports.
Prepares/collects financial material for budgets.
Assists in operational areas, providing services as payroll/finance, interim/annual report presentation and related administrative support.
Answers phone, screens and routes calls providing information in accordance with department policy.
Opens and routes incoming mail, distributes correspondence and other material to department staff.
Arranges all office related shipments, both incoming and outgoing. Monitors status of shipments.
Purchases office related supplies and maintains an appropriate level of supply stock.
Provides assistance in the day-to-day administration of department.
Provides staff support during vacation/illnesses. Including calendar for daily staff activities.
Other duties as assigned.
Equivalent of High School diploma.
3 years of related secretarial experience.
2 years of college or business school preferred.
Working knowledge of varied PC based systems and other standard office equipment.
Familiarity with FIS system preferred.
Ability to use discretion and good judgement.�
Proficient in Excel, Word and Powerpoint.
This position is part-time and works approximately 20 hours per week.

The hiring range for this position is $16.31 - $20.39 per hour.
