The Procurement Card Administrator’s essential function in the organization is to oversee and manage the purchasing card program. The positon is responsible for development, implementation and facilitation of the PCARD program/Liaison with bank PCARD vendor. Position also includes managing the PCARD activity, analyzing, and auditing accounts as well as other related administrative functions. This position also has buyer duties for purchasing goods and services for the organizations. In addition to these duties, this position will now be required to manage all technology related spend including conducting bids and RFP's as well as processing requisitions.
Primary Responsibilities :
Provides customer service for card holders and supervisors regarding card problems, troubleshooting, software issues, business procedures, and program policies and procedures.
Administers all activities related to procurement card provider system interface with bank system. Administration and oversight of bank Management System and transaction uploads into SAP system.
Conducts all Procurement card administrative tasks: Analyze and report spending on card to modifications and maximize rebate, prepare and conduct card user training, maintain accurate records, recommends disciplinary actions for card usage policy violations.
Processes all technology related University spending including the purchase of new hardware, software, maintenance and other related IT agreements. Process IT related requisitions, obtain quotes.
Conduct IT related bids and RFP's. Draft bidding documents, post bids on the Planroom, conduct prebid conferences, answer bid questions, draft and post addenda, conduct bid openings, draft award letters.
Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of related experience. Associates degree plus one year related experience, or five years direct related experience accepted in lieu of Bachelor’s degree.
Experience with PCARD administration.
Experience with troubleshooting and process problem solving.
