Responsible for the design, development, and implemention software applications and tools in support of teaching, learning, and administrative operation of the Kelley School of Business. Collaborate with staff and faculty to conduct business analysis in order to advise on user functionality and determine technical approach and specifications. Determine technical feasibility and design solutions that meet hardware, software, and security requirements. Conduct related planning, design, programming, testing, implementation, and support of systems. Advise and assist consultants and helpdesk technicians in support of faculty, students, and staff end users. Serve as a team expert in current technologies and help evaluate the feasibility and benefits of implementation. Lead the larger, more complex, and critical team projects. Assist in system architecture decisions and in the choice and implementation of development tools and software within the team. Help guide and promote the development and advancement of other team members.
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field and five years of programming experience. Experience should include software application development, relational database design, and multi-tier architecture. Experience leading technical analysis and decisions on large team projects.
Ability to analyze, design, and develop complex data driven web applications and software utilizing current programming practices and technologies. Expert level knowledge of current development practices and experience with advance implementations. Ability to effectively communicate and exchange information. Strong organizational and multitasking skills including the ability to manage multiple priorities.
