To manage the front office of the Student Services Center and other areas within the Student Development unit including providing direct services to students.
Description of Duties and Tasks:
The chief objective of this position is to manage the front office of the Student Services Center and other areas within the Student Development unit including providing direct services to students. Areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to: general correspondences including those with other campuses, greeting and directing visitors/callers, scheduling counseling appointments, data entry, managing the NOVA Qless system, making appropriate referrals, answer general questions related to admissions, outreach, registration, disability services, SAP, military services, transfer and career services. Assist students with general policies and procedures.
Minimum Qualifications :
Associate degree Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent applicable experience or training. Several years of Administrative support experience
Experience working in an educational setting. Experience working with a diverse population
