The Department of Chemistry at Rutgers University-Newark invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor in the area of Experimental Physical Chemistry to start September 2020. Applicants with research interests that complement existing departmental strengths are encouraged.
Responsibilities: The successful candidate will be expected to establish a vigorous, externally funded research program and to teach at both graduate (Ph.D. and M.S.) and undergraduate levels, covering standard physical chemistry curriculum. Competitive start-up funds commensurate with the needs of the specific area will be provided.
Minimum Education and Experience:
A Ph.D. in chemistry, at least two years of postdoctoral experience and an outstanding record of research accomplishments are required.
