Department of Clinical Laboratory and Medical Imaging Sciences Per Diem Faculty will be responsible for supporting core faculty in facilitation of psychomotor skills development in student skills laboratories and/or clinical settings and also providing support for didactic educational content delivery and the competency evaluation process.
Minimum Education and Experience:
Qualifications include a minimum of a baccalaureate degree in clinical laboratory science; professional U.S. certification as a Medical Laboratory Scientist, MLSCM; and a minimum of 3 years of experience as a generalist in the clinical laboratory practice setting. Experience teaching discipline-related psychomotor skills in student laboratory and/or clinical settings is preferred.

Job Duties include: 1.Prepares student skills laboratories under the direction and supervision of core faculty course coordinators 2.Instructs in student skills laboratories 3.Proctors student psychomotor skills exams associated with student laboratories and in clinical settings 4.Grades student skills exams and associated reports and projects 5.Assists in the development, delivery, and evaluation of educational program didactic content as required 6.Maintains certifications and competency requirements for the applicable healthcare profession(s) 7.Maintains practice standards, including safety and biosafety, in accordance with applicable diagnostics licensing and regulatory agencies. 8.Participates in departmental educational and process quality improvement activities and programs as required 9.Adheres to Rutgers' compliance standards as they appear in RBHS's Corporate Compliance Policy, Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest Policy. 10.Performs other related duties as assigned
