Entry level position to provide administrative and process support for the College of Dental Medicine's finance department.
Follow billing and collection procedures established by CDM Finance, including the processing of patient payment plans; process billing, collections, and third-party reimbursements.
Ensure each patient is properly checked in/out and correct procedure codes are being entered into Axium.
Process daily logs and monthly closing reports (Revenue and Lab/Implant Expense Report).
Create CIGNA Group information based on insurance guidelines/limits in Axium.
Conforms to all applicable HIPAA, billing compliance and safety guidelines.
Completes all other duties as assigned.
High school diploma
Experience with Axium billing systems preferred.
Project oriented experience.
Experience establishing relationships with insurance companies.
1-2 two years of related experience required.
Computer literate, with keyboard skills, knowledge of institutionally used software packages.
Strong written and verbal communications skills.
