The primary responsibility is to provide general office support for Rustandy Center operations, programs, and marketing activities. This is a part-time temporary position (less than 20 hours/week) that is expected to last a year. Flexible hours available within office operating schedule (Monday-Friday, 8:30AM â“ 5:30PM).
Execute a variety of tasks and projects including expense reporting and reimbursements using UChicago ePayment and GEMS/Concur applications, file maintenance and record-keeping, office supply inventory, scheduling/calendar management, and other activities and special projects that support Rustandy Center staff.
Assist with various event logistics including reservations, catering, and audio-visual services.
Additional tasks may include helping maintain mailing lists and assisting with the production of newsletters, team calendars, and other staff correspondence.
Assist with other related tasks and duties as assigned.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
Customer service orientation.
Proficiency with computers and technology and comfortable learning new software.
Intermediate user of MS Office applications.
Experience with SAP Concur or other expense reporting application.
Ability to identify priorities, multitask, and meet demanding deadlines.

Ability to keep information confidential.
Ability to communicate with discretion, clarity, tact, and courtesy.

Education, Experience or Certifications:
Bachelorâ™s degree required.
At least two years of administrative experience required.
