We are accepting applications for a full-time position as Data Assessment Specialist/Instructor with Adult Learning Center in Montgomery County.
Responsibilities: The position of Adult Basic Education (ABE) Data Assessment Specialist/Instructor at the Adult Learning Centers operated by MSU is primarily responsible for entering and reviewing data, running and analyzing reports and providing assessment and instruction to adult learners at learning sites. The position is responsible for maintaining records as required by Kentucky Skills U and communicating analysis of data to the director and instructors. This position will work a balanced schedule between the Learning Centers and learning sites in the counties operated by MSU.
Qualifications: A bachelor’s degree in related field. Excellent computer and communication skills are required. Incumbent must be proficient in the basic educational skills required for GED instruction (reading, math, language, social studies, and science), and ACT/COMPASS instruction. Excellent organizational and management skills are required. Ability to provide flexibility and tolerance to diverse populations. A valid Kentucky driver’s license is required and the incumbent must be willing and able to travel within the MSU adult education service area.
Desired Qualifications: Experience in data entry and/or adult education instruction is desirable. Incumbent should also demonstrate a commitment to lifelong learning and be dedicated to the betterment of the community through education.
