This position is responsible for on-site technical support for the Waddell theater for outside events as needed.
Description of Duties and Tasks:
Duties require preparing the theater and surrounding spaces (e.g. dressing rooms) for the client. To include organizing/maintaining equipment; operating audio and visual equipment for the technical rehearsals, performances and presentations; and post show cleanup.
Minimum Qualifications :
A bachelor's degree in Technical Theater (or specialized area such as lighting, sound or stage management, etc.) or a combination of education, training, and experience that proves proficiency in the field are required.
A Master's degree in Technical Theater (or specialized area such as lighting, sound or stage management, etc.) or a combination of education, training, and experience that proves proficiency in the field are required. Ability to trouble shoot and perform routine maintenance of theater production equipment; design and execute artistic and technical support services for theater and musical events.
