The Associate Director will supervise four Development Associates and oversee the fulfillment of goals for the unit. They will be responsible for hiring, training and supervising the team, in collaboration with the Executive Director of Qualification and Training.
The Development Associates will manage travel within an assigned geographic territory assessing giving capacity, affinity, and inclination through face-to-face visits (primarily), phone calls, emails, and regional events.
The Associate Director of Development will also travel and be responsible for identifying, qualifying, engaging and soliciting leadership annual gifts in support of The Fund for Syracuse and The Hill Society. This person will manage a small caseload of leadership annual giving donors.
He/ She will be a member of Philanthropic Engagement and Advancement and External Affairs with a specific focus on the management of the qualification team.
